The 23rd Cairo International Motor Show was held at the Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Centre from March 16 to 22. The exhibition is currently the highest-grade professional automotive exhibition in Egypt. BAIC showed up with its latest SUV-X25, drawing wide attention and earning high praise from Egyptian consumers.

BAIC passenger vehicles and mini car appeared at the auto show. With an area of some 500 square meters, the passenger vehicle zone displayed five models, including new SUV—X25&X55, compact vehicle A113/A115, etc. With an area of some 200 square meters, the commercial vehicle zone presented four passenger/cargo-type MZ40 models.

On the first media day of the exhibition, BAIC held the launch conference of X25 along with its local partner, heralding the launch of BAIC’s first strategic SUV model in Egypt. Through various online and offline advertising and promotional platforms such as local social media platforms and OOH advertising platforms, several rounds of pre-launch promotion of X25 were conducted previously. At the launch conference, BAIC drew close attention and gained great popularity from Egyptian media and consumers.

As the first model equipped with the unique “Smart Call” mobile smart connection system in its segment, X25 caters to customer demands for individuality and mobile connection. It features trendy appearance, exquisite interior, as well as rich configuration such as six safety bags, lenticular self-switching headlamp, intellisense rain wiper and power sunroof. It inherits the quality control technology standard and the international supplier system of luxury car-Saab, was subject to stringent control in production and detection, and went through acid tests on highland, high-temperature, high-cold and high-humidity roads measuring 2,690,000 kilometers. All these make X25′s quality trustworthy and made it a focus of attention during the exhibition.

To bring BAIC and customers closer and convey the brand concept of “Better And Ingenious Choice”, the exhibition invited BAIC’s owners in Egypt to attend the launch conference for free. An interactive gaming zone was set up for visitors to experience X25 through motion sensing games, thereby deepening their knowledge of BAIC products.

The Cairo International Motor Show is an important regional automotive exhibition radiating the Middle East and Africa. As important pivotal countries on the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, Egypt and China have kept deepening cooperation.
